Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake Foil Cover Preorders [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from IGN Articles published this week, physical preorders for the highly anticipated textured foil cover edition of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on the Nintendo Switch 2 have officially sold out at Amazon ahead of the November 5 release date. While Amazon’s inventory vanished over the weekend, collectors eager to secure the reflective slipcase variant can still place preorders through alternative major retailers including Best Buy, Target, GameStop, and the official Nintendo Store priced at $69.99. However, astute gaming enthusiasts looking to maximize hardware budget efficiency—much like buyers analyzing major gaming bundles in features such as the [GTA 6 Price Analysis: Why Buying Ultimate Edition Saves $5K [Confirmed]](/news/gta-6-saves-you-5000-dollars)—will find that Walmart stands out as the exclusive retailer offering a substantial $10 preorder discount, bringing the physical foil package down to $59.88. The limited-availability textured packaging has driven intense consumer interest across gaming communities, transforming standard preorders into high-velocity collector events. Industry analysts emphasize that physical media preservation remains a paramount priority for Nintendo traditionalists, especially for iconic franchise milestones. As launch day approaches this Thursday, remaining stock across surviving retail channels is expected to deplete rapidly, making immediate action mandatory for collectors who want physical ownership of this definitive retro remaster.
