Zelda Ocarina of Time Remake: Amazon Order Delays [Confirmed]

According to verified reports from Game Rant published in 2026, Amazon has officially delayed physical pre-order shipments for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Players across North America and Europe awoke to notification emails citing logistical backlogs and inventory fulfillment constraints preventing launch-day delivery for the coveted N64 reimagining. For nearly three decades, Ocarina of Time has remained a gold standard in action-adventure design, making anticipation for this high-fidelity remake unprecedented. Retail analysts note that allocation shortfalls are hitting primary distribution hubs hard, leaving collectors who preferred physical game cartridges empty-handed over the opening weekend. Nintendo and Amazon representatives have yet to release a revised delivery window, though affected consumers are being offered digital compensation credits or priority rerouting once stock replenishes. Meanwhile, digital purchasers on the Nintendo eShop experienced smooth, instantaneous downloads without interruption, highlighting a growing logistical divide between physical media logistics and frictionless cloud ecosystems. Gamers eager to dive into Hyrule are advised to check their account dashboards for tracking updates or consider temporary digital alternatives while physical fulfillment backlogs clear up across major regional distribution centers.
