World of Warcraft: Forever Northrend Tease [Confirmed]

According to verified reports published by Kotaku journalist Rebekah Valentine on October 30, 2026, Blizzard Entertainment has ignited widespread community speculation by seemingly teasing a return to Northrend within a brand-new World of Warcraft: Forever animated music video. The eagle-eyed discovery, originally brought to light by Reddit user u/Whatdididotho1, centers around the three-minute mark of the promotional video. While the primary map overview clearly maps out Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, and the central Maelstrom, careful observers spotted faint glowing red and blue lights situated atop a northern landmass. This icy region is unmistakably Northrend, the legendary expansion setting first introduced in Wrath of the Lich King. Blizzard has notably refused to deny the easter egg, actively leaning into community hype and fueling massive speculation across forums and social channels. Much like the recent [Warhammer 40K Lore Boom: AO3 Outage Fuels Fans [Update 2026]](/news/warhammer-40k-novels-ao3-outage-reading-guide), passionate gaming communities thrive on deciphering subtle narrative breadcrumbs left by developers. Veteran players are currently dissecting every frame of the AMV to determine whether Northrend will feature prominently at launch or arrive as a post-release content drop scheduled for later quarters.
