Chiikawa English Dub: Suzie Yeung Cast as Hachiware [Confirmed]

Voice actress Suzie Yeung has officially been cast as Hachiware in the English adaptation of Chiikawa, confirmed after song credits for the acoustic version of the theme track 'Mumbling to Myself' revealed her starring vocal role alongside Japanese counterpart Makato Tanaka. According to verified reports from Siliconera, the acoustic release finalized Yeung's position after her initial vocal performance in episode eleven went uncredited regarding character identity. While Chiikawa and Usagi voice actors remain unannounced, Yeung brings heavyweight prestige from major gaming projects, including her iconic roles as Yuffie Kisaragi in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Yu'Er in the upcoming action title Phantom Blade Zero. This high-profile casting highlights the growing intersection between premier video game voice talent and mainstream anime adaptations, a trend mirrored across titles featured in our [Honkai Star Rail 4.7 Update: Now, Lay Laughter [Confirmed]](/news/honkai-star-rail-4-7-update-confirmed) coverage. Fans of the wholesome yet surreal series celebrated the official lyrics and vocal release, which perfectly mirror Tanaka's whimsical Japanese original 'Hitorigotsu.' The localization team has kept further cast announcements guarded, but Yeung's confirmed participation solidifies the English release as a priority entertainment project.
