Super Mario Bottle Cap Collection Revealed in Japan [Confirmed]

Takara Tomy has officially revealed the Super Mario Bottle Cap Collection, introducing seven miniature collectible character hats designed to cap standard 16-to-20-ounce beverage bottles across Japanese gachapon capsule machines launching the week of November 9, 2026, for 300 yen per attempt. According to verified reports from Siliconera, the decorative lineup transforms standard disposable bottle caps into signature Nintendo headwear, featuring iconic caps from Mario, Luigi, and other beloved franchise personalities. Measuring roughly one inch in height, each miniature hat serves strictly as a personalized drink identifier rather than a functional mechanical opener. While Takara Tomy has not confirmed manufacturing materials or a direct international rollout, specialty import storefronts such as SimplyToyz frequently stock these Japanese capsule drops for global collectors. The collection mirrors Nintendo's aggressive physical lifestyle merchandising strategy, arriving shortly after the [Zelda 40th Anniversary Pin Set Released by Nintendo [Confirmed]](/news/zelda-40th-anniversary-pin-set). With an unweighted 1-in-7 pull rate per 300-yen attempt, dedicated enthusiasts chasing complete full sets must navigate randomized vending dispersion or rely on community trading hubs to secure rare cap designs without excessive retail duplicate friction.
