Rokid Smart Glasses 2: Meta Ray-Ban Rivals Unveiled [Confirmed]

Rokid has officially unveiled the Rokid Color and Rokid Glasses 2 smart eyewear, introducing full-color microLED waveguide displays designed to directly challenge Meta Ray-Ban in the competitive augmented reality hardware market ahead of their planned international showcase. According to verified reports from Android Authority, Rokid aims to disrupt Meta's wearable market stronghold with two distinct hardware architectures. The flagship Rokid Color incorporates ultra-compact 0.16cc microLED displays that project crisp full-color visuals directly into the wearer's line of sight, while the streamlined Rokid Glasses 2 utilizes a single microLED waveguide optical engine to deliver lightweight heads-up notifications. This dual-tier launch signals a major leap forward for augmented gaming hardware, bridging the gap between high-performance mobile devices like the [OnePlus 16R Specs: 185Hz Screen, 9,000mAh Battery [Confirmed]](/news/oneplus-16r-ace-7-specs-leak) and ambient heads-up peripherals. Hardware analysts note that Rokid engineered both wearable units to feature balanced optical transparency and ergonomic frames suitable for extended competitive sessions. The company plans to showcase the final consumer production iterations during global tech exhibitions, setting the stage for an intense wearable display rivalry against Meta's next-generation Ray-Ban portfolio.
