Fortnite Treasure Hunters Gizmos Guide: All Effects [Full Guide]

According to verified reports from Destructoid, the Fortnite Treasure Hunters season introduces five powerful in-game gizmos—including Golden Fireworks, Portable Extractors, and Lucky Locators—that fundamentally transform player survival tactics and extraction efficiency across all active competitive battle royale matches. During this special event rotation, players scavenge for these specialized tools to gain distinct tactical advantages. The Golden Fireworks item shoots a projectile displaying the user's username before dropping Sprite Dust, while the Portable Extractor enables remote sprite extraction to mitigate high-risk zone exposure. Furthermore, the Lucky Locator spawns a Buried Sprite Chest guaranteed to provide an uncollected sprite, accelerating collection completion rates for dedicated grinders. Alongside these mechanics, players exploring major seasonal shifts often draw parallels to other survival-focused titles, much like the community engagement seen following the [Bodycam Zombie Update: Release Date & Trenches Mode [Confirmed]](/news/bodycam-zombie-update-release-date). Mastering these gizmos requires precise timing and situational awareness, as rival squads frequently camp extraction sites waiting to intercept burdened players. Epic Games has carefully balanced these items to ensure high-stakes encounters remain thrilling while rewarding tactical foresight.
