Escape From Tarkov Creator Reveals Sci-Fi Shooter [Confirmed]

Escape from Tarkov game director Nikita Buyanov has officially revealed his studio's next major project, an unforgiving sci-fi extraction shooter titled Fragmentary Order that transplants punishing tactical gunplay into derelict deep-space orbital stations for release in late 2026. According to verified reports from Polygon, the Battlestate Games visionary showcased debut footage highlighting realistic ballistics, zero-G interior room clearing, modular spacesuit degradation, and high-stakes salvage runs. Players enter hostile orbital installations where life support systems, atmospheric decompression, and automated security turrets pose lethal environmental hazards alongside rival mercenary fireteams. Just as anticipated industry revelations like [The Elder Scrolls 6 Sentinel: Subtitle Revealed [Update 2026]](/news/elder-scrolls-6-sentinel-reveal-update) command major community scrutiny, Buyanov's departure from contemporary Norvinsk military warfare toward hard-science survival challenges traditional extraction conventions. The production confirms that hardcore inventory management, medical triage surgery, and weapon customization with real-world weapon platforms adapted for vacuum combat remain foundational design pillars. Polygon confirmed that while dedicated servers and custom network netcode are priority focuses, the project will undergo multi-stage closed technical testing before broader public beta access opens worldwide.
