Beyond Nen Hunter Exam: How to Unlock Nen Abilities [Full Guide]

Players seeking to unlock Nen abilities in Beyond Nen must successfully complete all four stages of the Hunter Exam—the Stamina Race, Trick Tower, Zevil Island, and the Final Tournament—accessible directly through the main lobby matchmaking menu. According to verified reports from Destructoid, entering the examination unprepared guarantees swift elimination due to mandatory PvP encounters in the closing stages. Initiates begin with the Stamina Race, an obstacle navigation trial requiring steady pacing rather than sprint speed. Stage two leads into Trick Tower, where Destructoid strongly advises pairing up via voice comms to navigate puzzles and hostile player ambushes efficiently. Stage three drops contenders onto Zevil Island, a ruthless badge-hunting survival zone, before culminating in a high-stakes 1v1 elimination bracket at the Final Tournament. Securing victory in this bracket formally awakens a player's latent Nen aura category, granting access to devastating offensive and defensive techniques.
